In most cases, it’s best to contact me by email. I’m usually quick to reply.
My email is: peter.g.yeung@gmail.com
Note: Email providers such as Google may store your message indefinitely and may disclose it to law enforcement agencies and others under certain circumstances. If you would prefer to send something in the mail then please ask for my current address.
Sensitive data, leaks, whistleblowing
If you wish to provide sensitive information that you think I will be interested in, there are some secure options to keep your identity protected through encryption.
You can use the phone app Signal to message me securely (ask me for my number). Download it here.
Or you can use PGP, the gold standard for secure communication (explained here). This is my PGP fingerprint: 73E2 8042 29EC F44A B0D9 528C 67AC B699 F9F0 044C. Alternatively, this is my PGP public key. There are a variety of PGP offerings, which can be complicated to set up, but the simplest in my opinion is the Chrome extension Mailvelope.
Note: A third party might still be able to intercept your message by compromising your computer or mine. Your email provider and mine will also see the From, To, Subject and Date of your email, along with various other metadata. They may keep a permanent record of this metadata and may disclose it to third parties.
